It wasn't bad, but it was a fair distance. I guess that's just the way the hotel is laid out. What a pleasant surprise!!! We did find the walk from our elevators to the casino to be very long. Everyone we encountered as far as staff goes, was very friendly and most helpful. The food at this hotel and the choice of places to eat, is incredible.
There was the odd noise coming from the hallway, but otherwise very quiet, which is what we wanted. The house cleaning was in the hall and we were able to get extra towels and coffee, no problem. We had no problem getting more coffee for us. I was disappointed that the room did not have a microwave, like the information said. There were 2 of us girls and had plenty of room for all our bathroom stuff. We were not looking out the window anyways.
We had a very nice room, not a great view, but we didn't care. We just got back from a 2 day stay at Soaring Eagle.
